Found this fun print and cut image at the Silhouette store and had to make a card with it for a friend who has a wacky sense of humor. I know she will smile when she opens the envelope. To make the white card base, I opened the image in Silhouette Studio DE, ungrouped the image and the cut line. Moved the image off to the side of the mat. I selected the remaining cut line (the one that was around the image) and used the offset function to create a white border. Copied it and mirror imaged it to the left. Aligned both shapes so they were slightly overlapping and merged them. Then I moved the birthday image onto the right side panel of the card, centered it then grouped the whole thing together. Turned on cut lines and registration marks, then printed it and cut out the card with my Silhouette Cameo.
My card was inspired by Jin's posts on the Under a Cherry Tree blog. Offset post idea is HERE. Card base idea is HERE.
