Lacy Butterfly - 2nd post

I bought this pretty butterfly card cut file from the Silhouette store a long time ago and never cut it out.  My New Years resolution was to try and use some of those impulse buys so I am working my way through my cut file collection.  I also have a lot of yellow cardstock that I bought when it was on sale at Michaels so I am using that up as well.  I plan to send this to the children's charity.  Hopefully the bright yellow butterfly will make them smile.

Remember the song from Paul Anka called Puppy Love?  That's what popped into my mind when I tried to think of a title for this blog post.  This card is for my hubby for Valentine's Day.  He loves dogs, so I thought this darling digi image called "Heart Puppy" from Eureka Stamps would be perfect for his card.

Colored the digi image with Copic Markers.  Used a gold glitter pen for the dog tag.  Designer paper is from the Robin's Nest.  Image printed Neenah cardstock.  Cut out the digi image with Spellbinders square dies.  Scalloped border and the heart shaped ribbon holder are cut files from the Silhouette store.  Cut those out with my Cameo.  Mounted image to card with pop dots for a little dimension.
