Oh Christmas Tree

The new challenge at Crafty Ribbons is Pure Whiteness.  I combined that challenge theme with the Emboss it challenges at Simon Says and created this elegant white on white Christmas card.  I've had this Cuttlebug lace tree embossing folder for a couple of years now and couldn't get it to work right until today.  After a couple of tries, I figured out the trick to making it work.  I used a very light weight cardstock and cut the cardstock piece to fit just inside the embossing folder.  I added a sheer white ribbon bow at the bottom of the tree to finish off my pure white card.

I love the white and that embossing folder is one of my favourites - thanks for linking for my CHNC challenge extra for September. You could also share this lovely card for The Glory of Christmas challenge 15: 'anything goes' - I'd love to see it there too, Hazel, Glory of Christmas DT. Hope to see you again soon. x
