Our local craft store has a sale for 50% off on Snoopy stamps so I couldn't resist adding to my collection.  Love this fun scene with Snoopy daydreaming on the beach.  I cut out the pieces for the easel style card and kraft cs layer with Spellbinders dies.  Used punches for the saying and red layer.

Little ladybugs

 

A friend sent me some fun stamped images to use for the cards I make for the children's charity.  I colored the ladybugs with markers, cut out the image then added a black border and ribbon. I think the little kids will enjoy these cute little ladybugs.

A fun froggy card I made for a little boy at the Cards for Hospitalized Kids charity.  Used a Stampendous stamp for the saying.  Versafine Black Ink.  White and green cardstock.  Cut out the frog with my Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine.  Added google eyes and dotted ribbon.

Anniversary card for my husband

 

 

Another card made with the Penny Black clear set called Piece of my heart.  This is for my husband for our anniversary.  Colored hedgies with Copic markers.  Cut out banner by hand.  Scalloped flower border was cut with my Silhouette Cameo using a file I bought at the Silhouette store.  Also used twine and some pearls.  Flowers and leaves are EK Success punches.

Penny Black Hedgehog

 

Just rec'd my new order of Penny Black stamps and couldn't wait to ink them up.  I normally don't color PB Hedgies with Copic markers, but I found a tutorial on you tube and decided to give it a try.  Not sure if I like the results as well as I do when I use colored pencils, but it was fun to play with the technique.  I plan to send this to the childrens charity.

April Showers

 

 

This cute little penguin is a precolored digi image from Dustin Pike's Doodle Dragon Studios.  I cut out image with Spellbinders dies then embossed the background layer with Swiss Dots folder.  Added two brads to the banner and assembled all pieces.  Image is on pop dots.

Rainy Day

 

Love this cute little monkey playing in the rain. I wanted a different size for my card so I scanned the stamped image into my computer and colored it with PSE.  Printed out the image and cut it out with Spellbinders dies.  I used designer paper from Doodlebug Designs called Snips and Snails.  Buttons are from Studio G.  Used a Fiskars punch for the scalloped border.

Fishing you a happy birthday

 

My card was inspired by Jen's card.  I used sketch 254 with her basic design but changed the image and made the balloon pop over the edge of the first image layer.   Colored the image with copics and paper pieced the balloon.  This is a fun way to use up leftover scraps of paper.

Penguin holiday tag

 

Created this holiday tag with a digi set called Penguins Winterland from My Graphico. 

 Cut out all pieces.  Embossed the blue background with Snowflakes embossing folder. 

 Tore the edges on the white pieces to make them look like hills of snow.

  Assembled all the pieces then added a gingham bow to the top.

Natures Sketchbook

A bad thunderstorm is moving through our area this morning so I'm staying inside and working on some cards for OWH.  I made this card using a butterfly stamp from the SU set called Natures Sketchbook.  Stamped the image randomly all over a 8.5 X 11 sheet of white cardstock.  Let the ink dry, then cut out a 3.75 X 5 panel for my main image.  Sorry the photo is a bit dark.  The white on white was a challenge to photograph and I had to tone it down a bit as the white was overpowering.  I also scanned in the sheet I stamped and saved as a jpg file so I can use this again in the future without having to stamp a whole sheet again.

"Bird Call" Embossed Birthday Card

I bought a embossing folder called "Bird Call" a long time ago, but never used it.   I did a search on the internet to find ideas for using it and discovered a wonderful designer and website filled with lots of embossed cards.  My card is based on this card made by Suzie B.  I used the same basic card layout, but I added a tag with the Happy Birthday saying instead of stamping a saying on the top of one of the layers. Supplies: Cuttlebug Bird Call Embossing Folder, Kraft, Black & White Cardstock.

This is another stamp from the Someone Special Popcorn Bear set by Crafters Companion.  Stamped with Memento black ink then colored with Copics.  Border was cut with my Silhouette.  Paper is from The Basics pack by The Paper Studio.  Printed the saying then cut out with trimmer and attached to flower.

Just Bee-Cause

I can't wait for spring to get here.  It's still cold and rainy today so I stayed inside and worked on some cards for the Cards for Hospitalized Kids charity.  All parts except the flowers were cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  The card base is a free cutting file from Dahlhouse Designs.  The happy little bumble bee is from Paper Piecings by Nikki and the scalloped borders are from the Silhouette store. Also added flowers with shiny black dot centers and the leafs are a green prima flower cut up.  The yellow background layer is embossed with a Cuttlebug Honeycomb folder.  Can't remember who makes the Just Bee-cause rubber stamp.
